Terms of Use
Effective date: July 28, 2026
Version: terms-of-use-2026-07-28-v1
These Terms of Use govern access to AG Academy, an invitation-only educational family beta operated by Camp AG, a nonprofit organization.
These Terms are between Camp AG and the parent or legal guardian who creates and manages the family account. Children may use AG Academy only through a parent-managed account and with the parent's supervision and permission.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, activating a child profile, or allowing a child to use AG Academy, the parent confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms.
Reviewing or accepting these Terms does not itself provide parent authorization for collection of child information. Parent authorization is completed through AG Academy's separate notice and single-use email authorization process.
2. Parent-managed accounts
- The parent is responsible for providing accurate account information.
- The parent is responsible for protecting the account password and controlling access to the account.
- A child must not create or independently control a parent account.
- The parent must contact Camp AG promptly after discovering suspected unauthorized account access.
- The invitation code or invitation access must not be sold or used to bypass beta eligibility restrictions.
3. Educational family beta
AG Academy provides educational lessons, practice activities, progress tracking, and related learning features. It is a developing beta service, so features, lessons, availability, and technical behavior may change.
Camp AG does not guarantee that AG Academy will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser or device. Camp AG may correct, replace, add, suspend, or remove beta features when reasonably necessary.
4. Appropriate use
Parents and children must use AG Academy only for lawful educational purposes. They must not:
- attempt to access another family's account or information;
- share passwords or authorization links with unauthorized people;
- circumvent account, invitation, authorization, or security controls;
- interfere with AG Academy, its servers, databases, email systems, or other users;
- introduce malicious code, automated abuse, excessive requests, or harmful material;
- copy, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit AG Academy materials without written permission; or
- use AG Academy in a way that violates applicable law.
5. Child information and privacy
Camp AG handles parent-account, child-profile, learning, and technical information as described in the AG Academy Privacy Policy.
Parents must not enter information that AG Academy does not request, including a child's full legal name, exact birthdate, email address, home address, telephone number, uploaded photograph, voice recording, precise location, public profile, or open-ended biography.
6. Parent controls and account closure
A verified parent may review or correct the child profile, withdraw parent authorization, stop further child use, request deletion of the child profile and progress, or request deletion of the parent account and associated family data.
Sensitive actions may require password reauthentication or other reasonable verification. A valid withdrawal or deletion request blocks further child access while the request is processed.
7. Camp AG materials
AG Academy's lessons, explanations, questions, graphics, branding, software, and other materials belong to Camp AG or their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Camp AG grants participating families a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use AG Academy for personal, noncommercial educational use during the family beta. No ownership rights are transferred to the parent or child.
8. Suspension or termination
Camp AG may restrict or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to address suspected misuse, unauthorized access, security concerns, violations of these Terms, legal obligations, or operation of the beta.
Camp AG will use reasonable efforts to explain a restriction or suspension to the parent when doing so would not create an additional security, safety, or legal risk.
9. Service limitations
AG Academy is provided as an educational beta on an "as available" basis. Progress records and other features may be affected by technical errors, outages, maintenance, browser behavior, or third-party infrastructure.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right or responsibility that cannot legally be limited. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Camp AG is not responsible for indirect losses caused by service interruptions, unauthorized use of an account, or use of AG Academy contrary to these Terms.
10. Changes to AG Academy or these Terms
Camp AG may update AG Academy or these Terms as the beta develops. The effective date and version will be updated when these Terms change.
Camp AG will provide additional notice when a change materially affects participating families. Changes to child-information practices will be handled according to the Privacy Policy and any applicable parent-notice and authorization requirements.
